Zipping a PPT file can make the presentation file smaller and easy to share. This is useful when the presentation contains media stuff like video and audio. Follow these steps to save ppt files as compressed zip file directly.
Step 1 Open the presentation file you'd like to compress in Kingsoft Presentation 2013.
Step 2 Go to Presentation > File Package > Package into Compressed File
Package into Folder: Copy the presentation file and related media items, such as video, audio, etc. into the specified folder, in order to play this file on another computer.
Package into Compressed File: Copy the presentation file and related media items, such as video, audio, etc. into the specified Zip folder, in order to play this file on another computer.
Step 3 In the pop-up dialog, enter a file name and choose a location for the presentation zip. Then press OK.
The zipping process is completed. Click the Open the compressed file button in the following dialog to see the result.
Sometimes the file contains a lot of graphics that already use compression, like .jpg and .gif files, or other media files. In this case, the size of the presentation file is reduced very little by zipping. However, the zipping is also helpful in that it packages all the related media items with the ppt file. You can easily send the package to others via email.
